Once the plywood hot press machine leaks oil, it will directly affect the production progress and product quality. To achieve rapid maintenance and restore production, please follow the following methods.
Step 1: Safety first, precise positioning
Immediately stop the machine, turn off the main power, and hang a warning sign. After the system is depressurized, carefully clean the oil stains and use a flashlight to assist observation. Oil leakage points often occur at oil pipe joints, oil cylinder seals, and valve block joint surfaces. Accurately identifying the leakage point is a prerequisite for rapid repair.
Step 2: Step by step processing, quick troubleshooting
Based on the positioning results, take corresponding measures:
Loose joint: If the flange or threaded joint is loose, use a wrench to tighten it again. Be careful not to apply excessive force to prevent thread slippage.
Seal damage: If it is determined that the oil cylinder piston rod seal or oil seal is aging and damaged, this is a common fault. Damaged seals should be quickly removed, the model checked, and new spare parts replaced. Ensure cleanliness during installation and apply an appropriate amount of hydraulic oil for lubrication.
Oil pipe rupture: If a metal oil pipe crack or hose damage is found, it should be replaced immediately. If there is no spare pipe on site, emergency welding repair can be carried out on the metal pipe, but this is only a temporary solution and needs to be replaced as soon as possible in the future.
Step 3: Recheck the test machine to confirm its effectiveness
After the repair is completed, be sure to carefully inspect each repair point. Clean up tools and debris, and turn on the power. Start the oil pump for a no-load test run and observe if there is still any leakage at the maintenance point. After confirming that there are no issues, conduct a low-pressure test and gradually increase the working pressure to ensure that the fault has been completely eliminated.
This rapid repair process can effectively shorten downtime and ensure smooth production. Daily inspection and regular replacement of vulnerable parts are the best strategies to prevent oil leakage.
