Selection guide for multi-layer plywood hot press machine
Multilayer boards and plywood are widely used in fields such as construction and furniture, and their quality and production efficiency largely depend on the performance of the hot press machine. The following are the key factors to consider when choosing a hot press machine:
Adaptability of hot pressing process
Select the size and number of layers of the hot press plate according to the product specifications. If high-frequency response equipment is required for producing thin plates, large tonnage models are needed for thick plates. Pay attention to temperature control accuracy (± 1-2 ℃), pressure uniformity (pressure difference ≤ 5%), and avoid local overheating or insufficient pressure that may cause delamination and bubbling of the board.
Stability of heating system
Priority should be given to thermal oil or steam heating models, which have small temperature fluctuations and low energy consumption. Check if the layout of the heating tube is reasonable and if the thermal circulation system is equipped with an automatic temperature control device to ensure a heating rate (recommended ≥ 3 ℃/min) and insulation effect.
Structure Durability
It is recommended to use high-strength alloy steel for the frame material, and the hot pressed plate needs to undergo nitriding treatment with a thickness of ≥ 40mm to reduce deformation. The hydraulic system should be equipped with imported seals and proportional valves, and the pressure regulation range should cover 0.5-8MPa to meet different process requirements.
Automation and Security Design
Modern hot press machines should have PLC automatic control, pressure curve memory, and fault self diagnosis functions. The safety device should include light curtain protection, emergency stop button, overpressure alarm, etc., and comply with CE or national safety certification.
After sales service guarantee
Choose brands that provide 24-hour response and sufficient spare parts inventory, prioritize local service teams, and ensure that equipment failures are repaired within 48 hours.
Choosing a hot press requires comprehensive consideration of process compatibility, equipment stability, automation level, and after-sales capability. It is recommended to conduct on-site inspections of equipment operation status and request manufacturers to provide process parameter testing reports to avoid low production efficiency or product quality issues caused by improper equipment selection.
