How to Select Suitable Limestone Supplier for Lime Plant
As the core raw material for lime production, the quality and supply stability of limestone directly affect the production efficiency of the lime plant. Therefore, it is very important to select the appropriate limestone supplier, which can be considered from the following aspects:
1、 Quality control is the key
The Supplier is required to provide the chemical composition report of limestone, focusing on calcium oxide (CaO) content (generally ≥ 50%), magnesium content (avoid too high impact on calcination) and impurities (such as silica, sulfur, etc.). At the same time, check whether the particle size distribution of limestone is uniform, and too large or too small particle size will affect the calcination efficiency. Sampling for inspection can be carried out on site, or the supplier is required to provide a third-party inspection report.
2、 Stable supply capacity
Understand the mine reserves, mining scale and transportation capacity of suppliers to ensure long-term stable supply. Give priority to suppliers of self-owned mines or long-term cooperative mines to avoid production interruption due to shortage of raw materials.
3、 Price and Transport Cost
Under the premise of guaranteeing the quality, compare the prices of different suppliers and consider the transportation distance and mode. Nearest sourcing can reduce transportation costs, but requires a comprehensive assessment of quality and supply stability.
4、 Service and Reputation
Inspect the after-sales service ability of the supplier, such as whether it can respond to quality objection in time and provide technical support. At the same time, learn about its industry reputation and give priority to enterprises with good reputation.
The limestone plant shall comprehensively evaluate the quality, supply, cost and service and select the most suitable limestone supplier.
