Which machines are required for wood veneer production
Wooden veneer production requires a series of professional mechanical collaborative operations to produce high-quality veneer efficiently.
Rounding machine is the starting equipment of production process. It processes the log into a relatively regular cylinder, removes the branches, bulges and other irregular parts on the log surface, provides a good foundation for subsequent processing, ensures that the log is evenly stressed in the rotary cutting process, and improves the quality and stability of the rotary cutting veneer.
Rotary cutting machine is the core equipment for single-board production. The roundness finding log is sent to the rotary cutting machine. Under the action of the cutter, the log is rotated and cut into continuous thin pieces, i.e. veneer. The precision and stability of the rotary cutting machine directly determine the thickness uniformity and surface quality of the veneer.
Dryers are also indispensable. The newly spun veneer contains a lot of water. If it is not dried in time, it is not only easy to become mildewed and deteriorate, but also affect the subsequent gluing and other processing procedures. Through reasonable control of temperature and humidity, the dryer quickly and evenly removes the moisture in the veneer to achieve the appropriate moisture content and ensure the physical property and dimensional stability of the veneer.
In the production process, auxiliary equipment such as plate shearing machine and plate splicing machine may be used for cutting and splicing of veneer to meet the requirements of different specifications and applications.
