How to control dust emissions from rotary kiln lime kiln
The rotary kiln lime kiln generates a large amount of dust during the production process. If not controlled, it will pose a threat to the environment and human health.
To optimize equipment design. Adopting a well sealed rotary kiln system, key areas such as material transfer and discharge ports are sealed to reduce dust leakage. At the same time, install efficient dust collection systems, such as bag filters, to capture dust particles through filtration and ensure emissions meet standards.
Strengthen operational management. Optimize the combustion process, adopt low nitrogen combustion technology, and reduce dust generation. Regularly clean and maintain the rotary kiln system to prevent dust and accumulation. Reasonably adjust the temperature and airflow velocity inside the kiln, maintain a suitable calcination time, and avoid dust from uncalcined limestone.
Introduce real-time monitoring. Install a dust emission monitoring system to monitor the level of dust emissions in real time, and take immediate measures once it exceeds the standard. At the same time, regular inspections should be conducted on dust removal devices, conveying equipment, etc. to ensure normal operation.
Pay attention to source control. Use enclosed conveying equipment to transport raw materials and avoid dust. When stacking and storing raw materials, try to seal them tightly to prevent dust from being blown away by wind.
