Control Method of Impurities Content in Calcined Lime in Shaft Furnace
Lime shaft kiln calcines lime, and control of impurity content is of great significance to improve the quality of lime, which can be started from many aspects.
Raw material control is the primary link. Strictly select limestone raw materials, detect their impurity composition and content through chemical analysis, and give priority to limestone with less impurities. At the same time, the particle size of raw materials shall be controlled to avoid uneven calcination due to particle size difference and excessive concentration of impurities locally.
Optimized fuel selection and use. Select the fuel with low ash content to reduce the mixing of impurities brought by the fuel. The fuel consumption and combustion state shall be reasonably controlled to ensure sufficient combustion and avoid the generation of new impurities due to incomplete combustion or the impact on the atmosphere in the kiln, thus affecting the reaction and removal of impurities.
Strengthen the management of atmosphere and temperature in the kiln. Maintain a suitable calcination temperature and oxidizing atmosphere to facilitate the reaction of impurities with the relevant substances to produce volatile or readily expelling substances. The excess air coefficient is accurately controlled to ensure that the atmosphere in the kiln is conducive to the removal of impurities while the fuel is fully burned.
Regularly clean the slags and ash deposits in the kiln to prevent the accumulation of impurities in the kiln. Through the comprehensive control of the above aspects, the impurity content in the calcined lime in the lime shaft kiln can be effectively reduced and the lime quality can be improved.
