How to solve the sudden jamming of the veneer rotary cutting machine
The sudden jamming of the veneer rotary cutting machine during operation not only affects production efficiency but may also damage the equipment. In this situation, you can follow the following steps to troubleshoot and solve it:
Step 1: Power off and shut down to ensure safety
Immediately press the emergency stop button, cut off the power, prevent the equipment from continuing to operate in a faulty state, and avoid personnel injury or further damage to the equipment.
Step 2: Check the raw materials and cutting tools
The common reasons for getting stuck are foreign objects such as hard knots and iron nails in the raw materials, or excessive bending of the wood. Check the wood stuck at the cutting edge, remove foreign objects or adjust the raw materials. At the same time, check whether the blade is worn or broken. If the blade is dull, it should be replaced or polished in a timely manner.
Step 3: Clean up sawdust and debris
If the sawdust generated during the rotary cutting process accumulates in positions such as the knife holder and transmission components, it can cause jamming. Clean the sawdust inside the equipment with compressed air or a brush to ensure smooth operation of all components.
Step 4: Check the transmission and lubrication system
Check whether the belt and chain are loose or broken, and whether the gears, bearings, and other components are lacking in oil. Adjust the tension of the belt, replace the broken chain, and add lubricating oil to the dry parts.
If the above steps do not solve the problem, it is recommended to contact professional maintenance personnel to avoid expanding the fault due to improper operation. Daily maintenance and upkeep of equipment can effectively reduce the occurrence of machine jamming.
