Operating principle of new high-precision single-plate rotary cutting machine
The new high-precision veneer rotary cutting machine is the key equipment in plywood production, and its working principle is based on the fixed axis rotation of the wood section and the linear feed motion of the rotary knife.
During operation, the wooden section is clamped by the left and right clamping shafts and driven to rotate by the main motor. The rotary knife is mounted on a cutting machine, parallel to the wood fibers, and cuts along the peripheral surface of the wood section. In order to ensure the thickness of the single plate for rotary cutting is uniform, the feed of the rotary cutter shall be strictly matched with the displacement of the wood section per revolution, i.e. the feed of the cutter bed is equal to the nominal thickness of the single plate per revolution of the chuck.
The new high-precision single-plate rotary cutting machine adopts the servo motor to drive the precision screw feed, and the knife rest movement is precisely controlled by the numerical control system, so as to ensure the uniform and flat rotary cutting single-plate. At the same time, the knife back angle can be automatically adjusted according to the diameter of the log, so as to adapt to the rotary cutting requirements of different diameter wood sections. In addition, the rotary cutting machine is also equipped with high-precision automatic adjustment function of the knife gate, and the knife gate clearance is controlled by the servo motor to further ensure the consistency of the thickness of the single plate.
In the process of rotary cutting, the wood section rotates in a fixed axis, and the rotary knife cuts in a straight line. Under the synergistic effect of the two, the continuous ribbon veneer is cut from the wood section. This working principle enables the new high-precision veneer rotary cutting machine to produce high-quality and high-precision veneer and meet the requirements of plywood production.
