China's lime kiln equipment and technology go global
On July 6, 2026, Beijing - In the wave of green upgrading in the global metallurgical, building materials, and chemical industries, China's lime kiln equipment and engineering technology are accelerating towards the world through the full industry chain output model of "technology+standards+services". From large-scale EPC projects in Southeast Asia to the landing of orders in Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, China's lime kiln industry is reshaping the global lime production equipment market with its advantages of high cost-effectiveness, green energy conservation, and intelligence.
The EPC general contracting model has become a highlight of going global. In October 2025, the EPC general contracting project of Indonesia Liqin OBI's annual output of 600000 tons of lime production line, constructed by Shanghai Baoye, was successfully ignited and put into operation. The project aims to build three lime kilns with a daily output of 600 tons, which is a model of the combination of China's technological advantages and Indonesia's resource advantages. It marks the recognition of China's lime kiln engineering general contracting capability in the international high-end market. The project adopts energy-saving and environmentally friendly double chamber lime kiln technology to solve the problem of pollutant emission control from the source, and integrates an intelligent control system to achieve the "going global" of Chinese technical standards.
Small and medium-sized equipment exports are blooming in multiple places. Shandong enterprise Heze Shuanglong Metallurgy signed four orders with Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries in early 2026, with a total contract amount of 180 million yuan. Among them, the value of a single rotary kiln equipment order sent to Zimbabwe exceeded 70 million yuan. The vertical kiln project of Shandong Tianhang Machinery has landed in multiple countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, and Pakistan. The Henan Zhengkuang Machinery's customized 200 ton daily active lime calcination equipment for Iran has also been shipped and installed. Anshan Huajie's technology has been exported to Russia, Central Asia, Africa and other places.
The competitiveness of Chinese lime kiln equipment comes from technological innovation. The domestically leading beam kiln technology is globally advanced, with China's beam kiln ownership accounting for over 70% of the world's total. The air-cooled beam technology has successfully opened up international markets such as India. In the process of accelerating the industry's overseas expansion, Chinese enterprises are deeply participating in the global industrial chain reconstruction with their comprehensive advantages of "high production capacity, low energy consumption, intelligence, and greening", becoming another shining business card for "Made in China" to go global.
