Analysis of the Reasons for Abnormal Vibration of Lime Kiln Fans
The lime kiln fan plays a critical role in production, and its abnormal vibration can seriously affect the production process and equipment life. The following is a common cause analysis.
Mechanical component failure
The rotor is a common source of abnormal vibration. Long term operation can cause wear, corrosion, or uneven accumulation of dust on the rotor blades, disrupting the balance of the rotor and generating significant vibrations during operation. Bearings should not be ignored either. If lubrication is insufficient or impurities invade, it can lead to bearing wear, increased clearance, rotor center deviation, and vibration. The coupling connects the fan and the motor. If the alignment accuracy is poor during installation, additional force will be generated during operation, causing vibration of the fan.
Unstable airflow
During lime kiln production, fluctuations in process parameters can cause unstable airflow entering the fan. For example, sudden changes in air volume and pressure can create an uneven airflow field inside the fan, generating pulsating pressure and leading to fan vibration. In addition, the internal structural design of the fan is unreasonable, which can easily lead to phenomena such as airflow separation and eddies, increasing the risk of vibration.
basic problem
If the strength of the fan foundation is insufficient, settlement occurs, or the anchor bolts become loose, the fan will lack stable support during operation, resulting in shaking and abnormal vibration. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check the condition of the fan foundation and tighten the foundation bolts in a timely manner.
